Quick update. I had a fellow traveler coming home Friday and we got to our gate 45 minutes before the departure time. At five till our departure time , I was concerned that everyone lining up our gate was going to Pittsburgh and yes, there were steeler jerseys among them. The clerk said that our fight had moved over four gates and had already departed. Wow. The next flight to Jackson was at B10 and one hour later, and he would put us on stand-by. I didn't know that gates were changed because they had too many planes and not enough gates, and believe me, I will always check in with my gate to make sure it hasn't been change next time. We took turns going back and forth to the agent at the new gate to learn all we could about the situation and when they said we had a seat most of the other passengers smiled at us like they were please we were able to get on.

On the way home I sat next to a man from Madison who didn't mind talking (good thing.) He owns malls and jewelry stores around the state and talked about the Chairman of the Board at the that bank in Kosy, and how he was so nice in the business dealings he had had with him. I said he was a Christian, and he said you sure could tell.

When we came out of the secured area of the airport there was Danielle with her fiance just flown in from Louisville, KY. We sure live in a small world. Four of the seven ladies in or teaching the training session had or were homeschooling. There were four different women from MS at the regional office being trained for three different surveys. At the hotel I met Beverly from Nashville who was there for a Medical Conference and we had a good visit. Yet we had one driver from Ghana and one from France.

I couldn't find my ID badge this afternoon, and after looking in my purse (H's really) four times, dumping everything out of it and walking away, I found it laying there on the counter with all the things from the purse when I come back. Go figure. I guess I'm not use to the way it looks and didn't recognize it all the other times. Or maybe it was because I went out and worked in the yard for a little while and got my mind off of it, so things looked new when I came back in.
